Welcome 2014!!

Look who hacked into my phone! I could stare at pics of these 2 guys all day long!

The library had a big New Year's Eve celebration during story time. Nathan went with us and showed his little cousins how to party!

Chloe wasn't real sure about all the commotion.

Party complete with hats, confetti, noise blowers, and poppers!

Most definitely my child.... (This is still how I prefer to watch a firework show!) Both of them totally flipped out when kids starting popping the little things!

After naps we played outside in our yard full of leaves! They were just too cute throwing them up in the air!

And then playing in the dut. Chloe LOVES to play in the dut. She has absolutely no regard for the fact that it shouldn't be in your mouth, hair, clothes, shoes, socks, nooks or crannies.

Then we had a wild and crazy night of skyping with Chase and Haylea! That's her hiding behind that blanket. haha!

NY Day we decided to hit up the Dillard's sale. Terrible idea. I hate people. Not really, just crowds of people. Ugh. But, it was a fun day with my mom and my sweet kiddos! Could've only been more perfect if Daddy wasn't working!

I know God will continue to bless us in 2014, just as he has done every single year. I pray we can teach our children more about Him this year, and that we can be better examples!

I forgot SANTA!! How could I forget SANTA?!?!

We decided to do our Christmas from each other at home. Chloe was all decked out in her gorgeous Christmas dress from church, but she kept stepping on it so we had to shed it later. :(

Loving her new chair!

I love seeing the excitement in their faces!

Especially Levi. He is old enough to start understanding WHY we celebrate Christmas. I pray we do a good job of teaching him that. He's always so grateful (so far!) so it makes it even more enjoyable!

Chloe was way more into the bucket of stale goldfish she found, haha!

She was getting the hang of ripping off the paper!!

Then we set out cookies and milk for Santa! Daddy and I called him and asked if he could stop by a couple of days early since we would be gone.

Obviously Chloe was ready for bed and doesn't quite understand what's happening. Haha!

I never want to forget this Christmas morning. Trent and I slept on the couch because we didn't want to risk missing their reactions. (Our room is upstairs, and Levi comes up to our bed when he wakes up every day.) Trent and I have quite the reputation for being big kids ourselves. There was one Christmas when we had no presents left by the time Christmas rolled around because we'd opened them all. Haha. Well, Trent was up waiting on Levi to get up! When he came in the living room, he didn't say "Santa came!" or "LOOK!!" He said "I WAS GOOOOOOOD!!!!" In the sweetest, most innocent voice. Since he's his 3, he's had more time outs and spankings than normal. But for the most part, he is a VERY well behaved kid!

Santa brought Levi a train table, a police car (that he's been asking for since October) a movie, sticker book, books, and some airplanes.

Chloe got a tunnel, a tea set, some books, a movie, and some other girlie things. :)

The magic was in FULL swing for Levi this year. I know it will be for Chloe next year. Our little family of 4 means more to me than I ever could have imagined. I honestly never knew how full my heart could get!

On to Amarillo!!!

On Christmas Eve, we headed west to celebrate Jesus' birth with Daddy's family!

Ready to see Mimi!

We stopped off at Brian and Danielle's to visit for a little while when we got into town. Uncle Brent and Tiffy were there!!

They have 4 cats now. The cats like to chase flashlights. That was TONS of fun for the kiddos! Haha

Trying to escape as fast as she could from the cats!

Grandma Coleman came over too, so the kids got to open their gifts from her! You can tell Chloe was getting into it a little more. Levi couldn't get the paper off fast enough this year!

What she typically does with her presents....she prefers a stage people!

These are from Christmas night. (These pictures are out of order and I'm too lazy to rearrange.)

Grammy unfortunately wasn't able to leave the rehab hospital after her 2nd knee replacement. We had dinner at Mimi's, then went up to the rehab facility to celebrate with Grams, then back to Mimi's for gift opening shenanigans!

Those two little Gann kids that we just love so much! And Kaytie and Mimi who obviously weren't aware they were in the picture, ha!

My sweet girl wasn't quite herself. I guess the crowds, and jumping from here to there still get her a little. She did get a good nap, thank goodness, but she was ready for bed!!

In their usual fashion, their attention must be on the same thing at all times.

(Rewind....back to Christmas morning.) We headed back over to Brian and Danielle's to see if Santa dropped anything off. They're really good kids, so of course he did!

Then we headed back for a good snooze. I wish I could just freeze time right now. They are both SO full of personality. I'm amazed by what they can learn every single day. I had a hard time not crying when I walked in and saw her like this. One of the 3 best gifts I've received.

Thursday, we headed to the barn to see the horses! Axle wasn't feeling all that great, so Levi got to ride a different horse.

He did SOOOO good! Was following Mimi's commands, wasn't scared, and enjoyed every single minute of it!!

He told Mimi "I do a good job!" Yes, my handsome, you usually do!

Chloe loved looking at them, touching them, she was even ok with the helmet!

But once we put her on the horse, she flipped out! Haha....we'll try again next time.

Then we fed her a special snack of.....candy canes??? Who knew?

Then Carol treated Trent and I to another date night. That's like 3 gifts in one. We had such a wonderful time! Finally got to watch Catching Fire!!!

These two little darlings rearranged Mimi's pantry. :)

Friday night, the boys got together with their old friends, so we had a fun night in. It was such a blast!

We had a wonderful time in Amarillo, but these two were SOOOO excited to pick up our furbaby!!!
