Finally!!

I'm finally getting to update!! We've been busy having some quality time with each other and good friends! Trent's birthday was on the 18th so he decided he wanted to take Levi to the zoo. We met with the Joiners, some friends of ours from college who also live here

Here are the proud Daddys! Isabella is about 2 weeks older than Levi.

Me and Levi feeding the giraffes some tasty lettuce
Daddy and Levi checking out the aquarium
Sweet Izzy
We had to do something extra special for Daddy since it was his birthday!! Blueberry pancakes and eggs in bed! We decided to let Levi eat in our bed too, what a nightmare! haha
This is his "cheese" face....he makes it whenever I get the camera out!

A little birthday cake for Daddy!
Go red raiders!

The cheese face again!

This kid looooves to be outside!

I bought him this little picnic basket and he carries around this disgusting steak all the time! He and Daddy are growling over it here. :)

Hobby Lobby, how I adore thee. I finally made some time to make us a new fall wreath!
Saturday we had a play date with a  friend from church. She's 2 months younger than Levi and just a doll!!

"Suzi....you have to eat it like this!"

We also got a surprise visit from Nana and Grandpa Saturday evening!! We enjoyed a delicious dinner on the Kemah board walk and Levi got loooots of  loving! I didn't take pictures of course. I'm trying to be better! Hopefully it won't be 2 weeks before I update again!

Labor Day with the Gann's!

Labor Day weekend we went to San Antonio to met up with all of Trent's family! It was a WONDERFUL relaxing weekend hanging out with people we love!

Wake up Uncle Brent!

 Pool Fun!

He loves to snuggle when he gets out of the pool, Grammy was the lucky snuggler this time!
 Uncle kisses!
Boys will be boys....I'm sure Mimi was having a few flashbacks at this point!

 Mimi is really funny!!!

More Mimi fun! She hit the honeyhole with this Nemo ball!
Mimi preparing Levi for his eye puff someday, hahaha.
 Mimi and Grandpa Lin!!
 Silly pops!!
It was so great to see everybody! It will probably be a couple of months until we see them again, so we're glad we got to meet up this weekend!!!

Sorry I've been terrible about updating, I've felt like I'm drowning at work. (So much so that I came home and told Trent I was DROWNDING, haha!) I'm hoping that now that we'll be here on the weekends I can stay caught up. So much to do and so little time!!!

Kia Ora!!

First on our travel list is Arlington. This trip was for me, and I had a BLAST!! To most of you reading this, you're probably saying "Who the heck are Dan and Rachel?" But to Les Mills instructors.....it would be the equivalent of a country music fan meeting George Strait!

Me and Lori, a fellow instructor and great friend! We elbowed and RAN our way right up to the front! I'm pretty sure I got Dan and Rachel sweat on me!

This was at the end of the masterclass....so awesome!!! Except that we couldn't kick, or we'd kick a neighbor.

Getting a little edumacated.

No we didn't plan to be dressed like them! If I could pick any other woman to be...it might be Rachel! She's beautiful and tough all in one! Plus she creates a way for people to become more fit for a living, while traveling the world. Rough life huh?

It was a really fast trip, Levi stayed with Aunt Kristie while all the boys played golf. Nana still has a bummed foot from her surgery so I think she just played while Aunt Kristie did all the work! I'm sure she was so sad. :)

10 Months!!!

I know I'm a few days late, but here's the 10 month post!
It's hard to believe this adorable face will be 1 soon! He is SO much fun these days! He's always been a wonderful baby, I can count the number of really bad days on one hand, but he does something new every day. The joy he brings us is immeasurable!

He legs are so strong, he pulls up on everything and squats down then back up again with no problem!

He babbles A LOT! It's still mostly consonant sounds, uh oh, and the occasional mama, and dada. No matter what he's saying, I love listening to his voice!

He eats pretty good, some days he doesn't like anything I put in front of him but for the most part he eats well.

He thinks Gunner is HILARIOUS! Every day when we get home Gunner jumps all over him and he loves every minute of it.

Last weekend when we were leaving Mimi, Grandpa Lin, Grams, Pops, and Uncle Brent, he waved and said "bye-bye" (or what comes out when he attempts) at the same time! He's waved and said bye before...but not at the same time! Now he waves at me every day when I pick him up!

His new thing is growling at us, it's so cute!!

After a bath, book, and prayer, he literally tries to crawl out of our arms at night to get in his bed. I'm very thankful he's such a great sleeper!

It's not unusual for Trent and I to look at each other and ask "How did we get so lucky?" It goes without saying that we thank our Amazing God for this blessing and all the joy he brings to us!
