End of October Fun

It was awards time at gymnastics again recently. At least this time I felt like they could have actually earned something! Ha!
They both love it so much! This one has come SO far!
Chloe loves it too! They have both gotten a little "goofy" where they're trying to be funny instead of trying really hard at what they're doing. Hopefully it's a phase.

None the less, they make me proud!

A little girl put her hand in front of my video as soon as Chloe showed off her flip :(

Levi and his buddy Gavin in their matching Mexico Soccer uniforms!
We met up with some friends at the Ft Worth Zoo on a Sunday morning for their Zoo Boo.

This kid and snakes....I sure hope she develops a healthy fear of them in the next couple of years. Right now, she is NOT afraid to touch them!

This chimpanzees were KISSING! It was soooo cute!
We also had dinner with the Gann's for Brielle's 5TH(?!?!?!) birthday. We weren't able to make it to her party because we had a soccer game, but we weren't gonna miss celebrating with her!! The kids had so much fun together and played SO well!

Just Making Memories...

We took the kids to Main Event. We all had a blast, and they ran WILD! Chloe was not so much into bowling...

Levi had a blast however!! He did it all by himself and loved it!

Just Daddy painting his girls toes :) She loves for him to "paint toes."
The kiddos helped me make some treats. Who doesn't love to lick the beaters??
We had a ladies brunch at church so Chloe went with me. Chloe absolutely ADORES the ladies that work in our church nursery, so I figured it was a good time to make her feel like we were doing girl things. :)
The night before we had gone to root for the Leopards. When Chloe saw Maria (the woman from the nursery) she literally said "bye mom" and ran to her! That makes me so happy!
 Another one from the brunch.
She is ALLLLL girl! This particular day, she had gotten into my purse and put on lipstick by herself, had on her sparkle shoes and a feather boa. I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried!
September was a really big month for Levi. He started school at The Learning Tree. This picture was at open house, which he absolutely screamed and cried through. He did not want us to leave him, when were just in the other room by the way.
However, come time for the first day of school we couldn't wipe the smile off his face! He LOVES his teacher and his friends.

I'm so incredibly proud of him and the way he has adjusted. He's learning so much and from what I can tell, he listens well at school.
While big brother is away, I'm SO enjoying getting some one on one time with Chloe. We don't go to the zoo every day, but even the mundane things are so fun with her.

We meet Lucas and Kristie at the zoo this day! They were so cute and brave feeding the giraffes!
Chloe is much more brave than Levi ever was at that age, and Lucas followed her suit. :)
These two fight more than any of the others. They're only 3 months apart so they always want the same things. BUT....can you just see how incredibly close they'll be 10 years from now? They love hard. And my gosh, I love them so much!

Beach Weekend with my Batesies!

These are not in the right order, but ain't nobody got time for dat.

While we were at the beach we got to see Trent's Dad, Stepmom and brothers. We had dinner with them one night and they came back to swim and hang out with us. Cameron and Carson bout made me have a heart attack swimming so far out!

Leslie thought we matched as we were leaving so she made us take a pic. However I looked like a hobo so we cut our heads off. Ha!
I hardly took any pics while we were there. I did some unplugging and just enjoyed the time. I did capture our adventures at Moody Gardens.
I was so incredibly happy that Trent got to go with us this year! Last year he was working and didn't get to come. :(
The beach with kids is a lot of work. The day goes something like this.....
Wake up
Feed all the kids (5 in total between all of us)
Sunscreen, swim diapers and swimsuits
Trek to beach with a gazillion things
Kids playing joyfully
Kids asking for snacks
Kids playing
Kids melting down
Repeat 3x
My mom got them these magnadoodles for the trip, Levi drew us some beautiful pictures!

This  was SO creepy!!! This darn snake was crawling up the glass! Chloe wasn't going NEAR it for a picture! Can't say I blame her. I was quite surprised at this kid!
So Chloe looks like she's sticking her tongue out in EVERY picture. She still has this gigantic lisp, so when she says cheese her whole darn tongue comes out her mouth!
Home for the week with some of my favorite people in the entire world. So grateful they let us share it with them!
Hugging her friend Audrey bye! They got along a lot better this trip, they'll be bffs before we know it!

Take a good look....probably won't happen for another 5 years!

Love you Batesies!!!

I'm so behind it's embarassing....

Life just keeps getting busier and busier! So here goes a few catch up posts...

Roanoke has as really cute little downtown area we discovered. So fun!
Shelly bought this snake at the Rainforest Cafe FOREVER ago for Levi. I never dreamed it would sleep with Chloe so  often! Ha
They are both growing so incredibly fast. I definitely do not feel like I have a baby anymore, just two grown little people walking around with me!
We met up with the Gann's at the zoo. Always a great time with them!
I swear it still seems like it's not real that they belong to us!
 "fishing" at the library
Chloe's favorite thing to do at the zoo is feed the crazy goats!!
Proof that mom is CHOPPED LIVER.
I got to meet up with my friend Marissa again one more time before her sweet little girl was born! These are our two littles. :)
