Welcome February!

Look how darn cute these 2 are!! They are so funny together. Best friends, and worst enemies! Can you tell they're a little smitten for their Grandpa??

Chloe thinks it's the biggest treat to sit in Levi's car seat. When we're going just to my mom's house I usually let him sit in between the car seats (GASP!) and her in his. Even if it's in the house! Haha She love his seat!

Levi was in time out for being mean to her. She goes and snuggles with him. Go figure?

Working on some crafts for our new house!! The kids will actually have their own bathroom! Wahoo for more than 1 bathroom! Haha

Since we bought a new house, we needed to get ours ready to sell. Well...how on earth am I supposed to show a house when it looks like this all the time???? (Of course God knows my limits and it sold quickly. Whew!)

Time to pack for DISNEY WORLD!!! We were SO pumped to be pulling out shorts and t-shirts....but there's a slight problem. NONE of Levi's t-shirts from last year are long enough! Stop growing!!!!

Chloe is already getting into dress up! These are shoes that I bought for Brielle when she was 1. Diana was sweet enough to pass them down to Chloe, and now she wants to wear them ALLLLL the time. Haha! She loves to go get shoes and put them on, but these are the fav lately!!

Safari Park and Some BIG Happenings!

We had cabin fever...again...so what better way to cure it than to meet up with the Gann's for some fun!!

YouTube Video

Chloe was acting like she NEEDED to ride the animals and then threw a big ole' fit when I put her on?

Levi and Brielle are so big. When we take them places I feel like they're 10. They only come talk to us when they're fighting! Chloe's getting right on up there with them! Chasing them everywhere and playing all by herself!

We had this HUGE day of firsts on the 17th. First up was Levi's first real dentist trip. He's been to the pediatric dentist before but that was a huge waste of everyone's time, and our money. Though I'm sure the dentist quite enjoyed it. Anyhoooo....our dentist will start seeing them at 3 so we made his appointment the same day as mine. (So dad could be with him and I could be in another room feeling out all by myself, and hopefully not passing that anxiety along.)

He did absolutely FANTASTIC! He let them do absolutely everything, they even got an X-ray showing that he had all his permanent teeth. (I was actually missing a permanent one, leading to lots of dental work so this made me excited.) I'm so incredibly proud of him!!

Look how gorgeous!?!? Then we headed off for more firsts...

Just like with Levi....I think we should've cut her hair waaaaaay earlier. That's probably been the biggest "milestone" for me to swallow with both kids. Chloe had this REALLY long layer in the back. But it was very thin and stringy and looked pretty bad. I hated to lose the length, but I knew it was time for a small trim. :(

She of course had to have a sucker!

Not so sure....

"Duck!"

The after!

They put her in sweet little piggies so she could get her ears pierced. Complete with glitter spray!

Now the not fun part! I can't even look at these pictures without cringing! But, Chloe's a girly girl already and I guarantee you she'll be glad we did it when she won't remember!

Levi was pretty concerned with this part. We had explained it to him beforehand because we didn't want him to totally flip out.

There was LOTS of this.

Ugh...my heart hurts for her!

PISSED.

Trent quickly scooped her up and took her outside. She was immediately over it and hasn't complained since! She loves to show off her "ear ins" as Levi calls them! She is very good about letting me clean them, and so far no trouble! I think she must have pulled on one a couple of nights ago because it had bled a little. But all is good!

She looks so grown up!

Sooooo handsome!! He always looks at least a year older with every haircut. But, my goodness he's cute!!

An Interesting January

How did I get almost a month behind already?

Levi is getting SOOO big, and soooo independent! I tried to snap this picture of him putting his undies back on all by himself, but he was too fast for me. When he talks, he sounds like he's 10. Most of the time he speaks in full, mostly correct sentences. He uses figures of speech and he's SO expressive! This morning, while he was laying in our bed (at 6am,) he told me "Ah Mom, your gotta be kiddin me!" I have no clue why he said it, I guess because I kept telling him we couldn't get up because the sun wasn't up yet?

This little darling just keeps growing and growing!! She is most definitely opinionated and she's most definitely a high maintenance girl. Sometimes she's soooo whiney, and she very carefully throws herself in the floor to throw a fit. But, oh my goodness does she make us laugh! She loves to play with her brother, she follows him everywhere and wants to do everything he does. (Which results in many fights because he doesn't want to share one of his 300 cars.) She's talking more and more every day and she's really getting into all things girly (along with cars and trucks.) She's still a monkey and insists on climbing on everything. She's also decided that if she's the slightest bit tired, she wants me to snuggle and hold her. So much so that if I try to put her down, she'll literally refuse to put her feet down. Scrunch them up into a tiny ball and hang on for dear life! But I DO love the snuggles!!

Nathan and Braeden are playing basketball right now, and the kids love going to watch their games!

This is Braeden's team.

So we had another freak parent thing happen to us. (Maybe with lots of prayers, that will be it for 2014?)

One night we were getting ready for some friends to come over for dinner. Chloe was her typical cranky-right-before-dinner self. Trent laid her down to change her diaper, and when he picked her up by her hands (like we do most of the time!) she started to SCREAM. We weren't really sure if she was just in a bad mood, but when it continued for a while and we couldn't get her to use her arm, we figured something was wrong.

We took her to the ER and before I even finished explaining what happened, the Dr. said "Oh, nurse maids elbow." Another one of these "happens all the time, but I've never heard of it" things. She twisted and pulled a little, then ordered an x-ray. Literally within MINUTES. She was totally fine. She's running in circles around Levi in this picture.

She immediately asked for a snack and was 100% happy! The Dr. watched her through the window for a few minutes and then came back to say she was canceling the x-ray, it was obvious that it was nurse maids. It's a slight dislocation of one of the bones in the elbow. How come no one told us about THAT in our newborn class??? We were SO relieved it wasn't serious and was a simple fix! Prayers answered again!

Snuggled up with my 3 favorite people!

Gunner was literally sitting straight up in my lap?!? Haha!

Nathan and Braeden had an extra week off of school so we decided to hit up the Aquarium!! We've been a couple of times, but this is the first time we got to go with our cousins! They were pumped!

Loving the manatee!

As soon as we booked our Disney trip I got all crafty! This was a while ago...luckily we're just a few days away from our trip!! Woohoo!!!

Bath time is ALWAYS one of the happiest times of day! Love them so much!

Magic bands have arrived!!!!

We're all super excited!!!
